Dear Colt Auto Collectors:
We are pleased to offer the finest group of 1911A-1 autos we believe ever offered for sale at auction at one time. This group was assembled by a leading Texas gun collector with the help of prominent expert and author Scott Meadows. Each firearm was meticulously selected, authenticated, and researched by our consignor and Mr. Meadows. A free copy of Meadow's book, U.S. Military Automatic Pistols Volume II (1920-1945), will be gifted by Little John's to all successful buyers of model 1911A-1's at our February 2010 auction. An $85 value!
